Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 AP Setup Guide

Required Software

• Archipelago 0.6.1+
• A legal version of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (Steam or Gamepass)
• Latest clair_obscur.apworld (by @Jostar)
• Latest version of the client mod (by @Demorck)

Recommended Software

• Poptracker
  • Our autotracker for Poptracker (by @Yezzdia)
• A map tracker for COE33

Setup

1. Find your Archipelago directory, and put clair_obscur.apworld in the custom_worlds folder
2. Create a yaml settings file, and put it in the Archipelago directories players folder. You can generate a template yaml with the archipelago launcher.
3. Generate your game
4. Host the game, either locally or via the archipelago web hosting service
5. Download the right file in the release tab of the mod client. (Steam or gamepass version).
6. Extract it in the root of the game folder. To be sure that is well extract, you need to find 3 files called ClairObscurRandomizer.pak, ClairObscurRandomizer.ucas and ClairObscurRandomizer.utoc in \Sandfall\Content\Paks\LogicMods and ue4ss folder in \Sandfall\Binaries\[WinGDK or Win64]
7. Profit !

Connecting to a game

1. In the main menu, there is an "Archipelago" button. If you don't find it, your installation is not correct.
2. Enter your rooms information like this example:

• Host : archipelago.gg
• Port : 69420
• Slot : MaelleLaPlusBelle
• Password :

3. Click on "Connect" and wait until it says connected.
4. Create a new save if you are connected for the first time. NOTHING WILL HAPPEN UNTIL SPRING MEADOWS. WHEN YOU ARE IN SPRING MEADOWS, PRESS CTRL + F2 (for now)
